My first pics (still at overseas dealership)

Had to share excitment with someone. First pics just came in today. Ordered in February while temporary duty in Germany through Military Sales. Car was a 18 July build.

It just arrived at sales office last week, now it's at Bremerhaven? waiting for next boat. Not too sure of process, but supposed to be receiving tracking number shortly so I can watch the slow ride across the pond. Hopefully I can get it before end of September. Anyone else have a 7 to 8 month wait?

Pick up the car in Baltimore at the port. Anyone else recently accomplish that can share info?

Thanks to all for guidance and advice I read about over the last year before test drive(s) and ordering process. Oh yeah, the test drive in Germany was incredible. We had one hour unsupervised and it was .... good. They really are limited to 139mph and yes, they pull hard all the way too.

Next pics will be getting it off the boat.

Actually this car was built, then delivered to the selling agent, he is the one that took the photo for me. Next it's being trucked to Bremerhaven, then shipped to the port where I pick it up.

Peprwhte, thanks!

Gorgeous car Krafty, very sleek color/stripe combination. I put my deposit down (though for a Clubman) end of June and will be lucky to see it by the end of the year (so 6 months). If I go with a Clubman S I'll be lucky to see it by Feb (8 months).

You're fortunate to have photos of your car already (or is that more a tease). You're almost there though.

Thanks for all the kudos. Coopdy, you need to stay off these boards or you'll go crazy! Jim, your absolutely right, I was doing great until I got the pics earlier. I went to the St. Louis MINI dealer SUnday, crawled over and under everything. They had 4 cars in the showroom and 4 in gated parking, none with the Dk Silver...

I downloaded a bunch of Dk Silver pics from the gallery and browse them whenver it gets too rough. I can do this... I can do this...

Best part is I get to go to BWI and pick it up and drive to NY to see Mom for a while, then drive it back here to St. Louie. 1800 mile round trip. Whoo hooo.
