Bubbles in window tint

I have a couple jelly bean size bubbles in my window tint. Is there a way the bubbles can be fixed?

You can always take a small needle and pop the bubble then use a credit card to push all the air out. Otherwise if someone installed it then have them fix it under warranty.

If it's new tint, take it back to whoever did it and have them fix it. I've still got a very small bubble in mine that is slowly going away (2 weeks now)

Should be under the tints warranty. Make em fix it!

The dealer said mine would have minute bubbles the first few days, but they should go away. How long have you had the tint for?

My question is can the bubbles be fixed. I can't call the installer right now as we are both sitting underneath tropical storm Fay for the last couple of days and most places are closed.

The tint is 8 months old. The bubbles are in a place I don't see everyday so I forget about it untill I clean my windows. I just want to know if they can be fixed before I call them so I'm not getting the run around.

8 months old? No way. You're going to have to pull that film off and reapply. If it hasn't dried up in 8 months (down south especially) it's not going to happen. And you don't want to put a small pin hole in the tint. Whoever did the job should take responsibility.

A pin won't void the warranty that is what the tint shop will do as well. They will not reapply the film for a bubble. :-(

depends on what film you get... if the bubble wasnt there originally, they just may replace it for you

i know 3m is backed by a lifetime warranty against peeling, fading and bubbling
