Yep - it's a 2006 convertible 'S'. I've gotten better numbers in the past, but the high average speed for those tanks really killed the fuel economy. (Plus, the convertible doesn't have the slickest aerodynamics, even with the top up.)

I agree. My highway mpg has been around 35. And through careful driving without being obnoxious to others, my city driving is now around 32 (per the car's computer). I'm currently using premium with no Ethanol 'enhancement'.

Most of my driving is above 5,500 feet and my car is a 2007 Mini Cooper S.
