I've ordered it. I LOVE it...then I decide I better change the roof color or then maybe I need the exterior chrome and if I have the exterior chrome I guess the interior chrome would look great with the piano black.

My question is: My MA says my car is in 111 sataus. He said it would go into 112 staus today or maybe even yesterday. When is my car locked in and I can no longer make any changes?

 

You can no longer make changes to factory ordered items.

Just enjoy the thought of getting a mini. Once you have it you won't really care because all you will want to do is drive and wash it. Other than roof color others items you talk about are minor and able to be changed by you. Personally I do not like different roof colors and will always choose the same color as the car. Can't go wrong with that.

I ordered an MCS last tuesday, yesterday Aug 1st I called my MA and told him I wanted to make some changes, and he did it over the phone, I just had to stop by and sign a new/updated contract. He told me that untill it get to #150 (status code) I can be changed. 150 indicates that it's in production and then it's too late.
I would suggest calling 1-866-ASK MINI if you have any problems.

 

mimimo, you sound like I did a couple weeks ago! I ordered and had to cancel 2 times prior because of changes. I was lucky my dealer allowed me to do so - because the first 2 cars went into production immediately! Anyway.. cancel/hold your order if you can and take an extra day to think, think, think about the options/colors - then place the final order (but you may still have "doubts" of if you "should have"...) and enjoy!
