Wow, tboner4me, that was awesome. Can I ask who your MA is? I would be made up with floor mats and those gifts.

My MA was Jesse Antonio, and I was happy with him. The Finance guy was kind of slimy though.

The whole car pick-up process took about 2.5 hours; my MA said the average time is about 4 hours for pick-up. But that 2.5 hours just flew by compared to the previous 8 weeks.
Tboner4me - I'm curious about the time it took to pick up the car... silly me I just assumed that I would have an appointment scheduled, walk in, sign one or two pieces of paper, get the keys, beg off any attempt for a 'car tour' and off I'd go (hopefully with a goodie bag or two and mats). But 2.5 to 4 hours? Wow - now I'm thinking I need to take the day off work! Can you tell me what the process is? I'm obviously a first time Mini owner to be. I ordered from EB Mini also. Thanks!

is the Finance guy the guy with the bald head? i talked to him briefly after putting down the deposit and i already got the feeling that hes there to squeeze extra money out of me with all their "protection" packages like etched serial number and super duper paint sealant.

it took about 2hrs for me but i was not financing so i didn't have to fill out any paper work or wait for the "numbers" to come back. however, i did have to wait about an hour and a half before things got started and yes I made an appointment and I was right on time.

basically they went over the options list and made me fill out some paper work for dmv etc. then they handed me over to the finance guy and it took about 1hr with the finance guy. he basically tries to sell you everything, extended warranty, lojack, windshield insurance, etc. now this is the part i was disappointed with... the finance guy tried to get me to sign the final delivery paper without showing me the car. well while i was waiting i went to check my car. there were at least 2 things that had to be replaced and or repainted.

I feel as if my MA conviently skipped that part to try and get me to accept the car as is with the defects.
