Until when can I change my order?

My car is scheduled to go into production the second week of August, does that mean I have until then to make any changes to my order?

Also, I'm debating changing my MCS order to a JCW MINI, would it be possible to do this with my current order? Thanks

I think it gets locked just before it goes into production. However, I'd make the changes ASAP. I don't know how reliable scheduling estimates are.

Probably have to re-order, but your dealer would know better than I.

The allocation you received is for a particular model, you might be able to change the equipment specification but not the model.

The dealer would have to swap your Cooper S allocation for a Works allocation.

I tried to add two items (armrest and chromeline interior) the next day after I ordered my MCS and could not do it. In fact, I called the dealership on my way home and left a message and then emailed them when I arrived home...too late. The Sales Manager told me that the order was already scheduled and that it could not be amended. I'm still kind of pissed about it...."such is life". Hope you have better luck.

It can get "locked" quickly.. I had to cancel TWO cars because of changes I immediately made (within 12 hours). I agree with Miniac, you may be able to modify the current order, but to get a JWC - you would have to cancel and reorder. Good luck!

P.S. I was lucky my dealer didn't make me forfeit my $1000 deposit - they could have according to what I signed. In any event, I final got the order right - and it's going to be born on or before 8/5!
