What exactly is covered in these three years? I assume oil and filter. How about things like coolant, brake pads, or wiper blades?

Are there a set interval for these maintenance repairs?




Also, what does the rest of the 50,000 mile warranty cover? is it bumper-to-bumper for 50k?

maintenance plan provides all the things you listed as needed or if it comes up during the planned maintenance interval. For example, coolant flush interval is 4 years so it wont fall into the plan.

50k warranty covers things that break but not wear items. say if you need new brake pads by 30k miles, then that will be covered by the maintenance plan not the warranty. now if you needed new brake calipers by 30k, then that would be covered by the warranty.


Neither will cover tires but most tire companies have their own warranty.

 

I bought the extended maintenence program for 1800. It is debatable if it is worth it but although i may only break even on it, all my maint will be paid for until 100,000 miles. I figured i will need at least two brake/rotor jobs after free maint ends. Possibly a clucth and battery as well as the other scheduled maint. If you don;t buy it when you purchase the car they will ive you an opportunity to buy it befor the free 3/36,000 runs out.
