If anyone is still looking to order an 08, my dealership says they still have 5 MCS allocations open for ordering. This is Century Mini in Greenville, SC.

Also, they are conveniently located about 15 miles from the SC VDC at the BMW manufacturing facility here. This makes the time in transit from the VDC to the dealership about 20 minutes or so.

 

Probably because they want $1000 deposit to talk to the GM about anything less than MSRP

 

Most people are paying at or near MSRP lately. I don't think this has caused a big problem for them considering they can't keep any cars in stock.

 

Maybe not, but their sales manager sure is a jackass.

 

Okay. Guess I haven't met him.

 

On a side note, I did do my first Mini test drive at Century and the MA was the best I've had at any dealership. I think his name was Danny, can't remember....he was formerly a service technician that switched over to sales. Good job for him, bad job for Paul Belair.
