Accelerating onto the highway, it's usually 1st, 2nd, 4th, & 6th. I do downshift to 5th when approaching a turnoff.

I rarely use the top gears on my aprilia. You should try lowering your final drive ratio...makes the lower speed stuff even more fun!

On the track I hit the rev limiter in 4th at 115 so need 5th

I was wonder if I was alone in rarely using 5th in my Justa.

About the only time I use 5th is downshifting from 6th to pass at highway speeds ... 55mph+.

I'd like for 5th to get the gear ratio that 6th has now, and make 6th at a "super economy" overdrive. The "S" engine seems to have plenty of guts to make that work.
