The error light won't go out even if a restart the car it still shows. Did I do something wrong, it just came on while I was driving in good weather. The error is on my center console as well on my navigation screen

 

Check your turn signals. When activated past the detent do they stay on? If not, you have a steering angle sensor problem, which others have noted. Check with your dealer.

 

My car is presently at the dealer due to an intermittent DSC malfunction notice. Here are the bizarre things that happen: At randon times, but more frequent after rains/washing and/or light braking, the DSC malfunction warning comes on. When this happens: my turn signals will not auto cancel, the radio switches to a country station, but the display still says it's on the station I had it on, start assist (hill hold) doesn't work, radio reception and volume fade in and out, upon turning off the motor and restarting, the malfunction warning goes away, but the windshield wipers go on! It appears my DSC button is not working as no indicators come on when I push it (Is that normal?). By the way, none of this happened until right after I brought my car in to MoS for its first service. My Scangauge does not list any codes. Anyone else heard of such craziness?

 

There should be a lemon law just for that.

 

my mini had the problem for 8 months. I wasn;t able to get it fixed because there's no mini cooper dealership here in the philippines. But now, I did nothing to fix it and the light is gone. It hasn't gone on for 4 months now
