I had a quick question about the lock toggle. If the door is unlocked and you push the toggle up, does it cause the car to lock? This is what happens in mine and i find it really annoying when I can't figure out if the boot is locked or if the person just has trouble opening it.

 

Yea it locks and unlocks in both the up and down .ahhhh I'm drunk I don't know how to explain it but it does.

 

it's a two-way momentary switch. It is annoying if you have auto-lock "on". You (the driver) have to manually toggle the switch (or by remote) if you or someone else want to open the boot.

 

I've taken to using the remote for the boot, it not only unlocks it, it also pops it open (slightly).

 

I usually keep a mental note in my head that if the side doors are locked, the boot is also locked.

To open the boot, either press and hold the boot button on the key fob.

If I'm in the car while driving/idle and need to open the boot for someone, use the console door unlock switch and that will unlock the boot to be manually opened from the back.
