that you get in the adventure field kit. My 8 year old and I have look at every car mag I own for mini ads and have found naught.

 

Personally I tried it a few time but finally gave up and put it back in the box.

 

I've struck out every time I used it, from car ads to on-line. So it's back in its top secret manila envelope in my desk at work. Was cute, but frustrating. No big deal, I'm using the mouse pad and pen and got a kick out of the MINI Field Guide to Motoring.

Go get signed into the MiniUSA Owner's Lounge. If you're going to go to one of the MTTS events, there's a message regarding those events that needs the red glasses to be seen correctly.

 

Hey I went to MMW this weekend at the Marriott in Irvine and bought a whole bunch of old MC2 back issues. There was a coded message in the ISSUE NO.5 November-December 2006 ad that said " MINI OWNERS: USE YOUR DECODER. I pulled out my decoder and low and behold it actually worked. It sent me a to spygear site, I entered my VIN number and I got a "Congratulations on another successful decode: I won the Adventure Toggle Switches, I had to fill out my name and address and supposedly they will send me my toggle switches stickers.

I really didn't think it would work since the add was so old, but the website is still active and it accepted my VIN with no issues.
