Do the R53 wheels fit the R56?

Newbie question. I love the look of the R90 wheels from the first gen (R53) minis. Does anyone one know if the bolt pattern and offset are same?

Thanks

bolt pattern and offset should be fine. however, the studs are thicker on the R56. 14mm vs 12mm I believe. so if you want the wheels to fit, you'll have to have someone bore out the holes to 14mm.

easy answer is no it wont fit

They will fit, no problem. R90s are available as an accessory for the R56, and it's not like any of the MINI wheels have/had bolt holes that are snug around the lugs, anyway.
