I have a 2007 Cooper S (R56) and I'm about to embark on my first oil change. Don't drive a lot of miles, but still want to do it before the dealership, call me crazy, but I just look at it as a bit of insurance. Anyway, I can't seem to find anywhere that is telling me the quantity of oil that I need to use. Does anyone know how much oil the Cooper S takes?

 

I always put in 4.5 quarts, and the other half in the 'boot' for topping off later.
