Im selling my 07 R56 S. they claim hp is 175. I am interested in a possible JCW but Im a little confused with the HP ratings.
CAR AND DRIVER claims the Works has 189hp.

MINI.com says the JCW has 211hp ///// http://www.mini.com/com/en/mini_john...orks/index.jsp

MINI.com also says the CHALLENGE has 211hp but its faster 0-60//// http://www.mini.com/com/en/mini_jcw_...ge/content.jsp

So what is the JCW 189hp or 211.

 

There are 2 different JCW packages for the R56:

JCW Stage 1 (available add on kit for any R56 S at the dealer) =189hp


JCW Stage 2 (only avail from the factory)=211hp

 

Well that explains everything. Am I blind, I do not see the stage 2 on the configurator? Do you know how much it costs? Is this the one with the new head as well?

 

well I got an email from miniusa when I signed up, for an ad on the JCW at 208 hp......????
