I read this article last Sunday. I recall a lot of "the sky is falling" talk a while back, and I'm glad to see the car is having continued success.
Me, I just like em all, and want to see the marque go on.

The "sky is falling" portents of doom were primarily from R53 owners disillusioned with the styling of the new R56. I think it's safe to say the R56 has been a roaring success thus far.

The next gen transition spawned all kinds of weirdness...most of it understandable and some of it even predictable!!! I think the dust has settled for the most part...and folks have their preferences among all the various MINIs out there. Big shocker there!!! I am very glad the marque is doing so well...as one who drives an R56 Cooper each day, I'd say the success is well deserved.
