I love my punch leather, but I have yet to find a real good place to punch it without having my fist bounce off and scrape up against something else in the car. So I do not attempt that anymore!

Hey folks with punched leather,
I was hoping you could answer a couple of questions for me.
If you spill something like a beverage on the punch leather, does it clean up easy?
Does it go down through the holes into the seat? What is the seat like where the leather is punched???

Also with the leather seats you get lumbar support, which made a big difference when we were trying out the seats and went with the punch leather...week 43 build!!!

I have only 2100 miles on mine, but I love the punch leather. Don't spill anything on your seats. If you're the type of person to have food and drink in your car all the time, get something easy to clean.

Hey Mini2me!
I'm a week 43 build too...so excited I can barely stand it. Check out the week 43 support group in the 1st gear forum.

I went with the punch leather too.
I guess I'm having second thoughts. I love the look, and they were really comfortable when I sat in them in the dealer. BUT the lounge leather would probably have been more cleanable. I just didn't like the piping and the extra $500

I wish I could have gotten the punch leather seats...but it was either that or the LSD and other options I wanted more. The leatherette is OK and seems to hold up to spills and wear better than my VW's leather seats did. But I guess that's kind of comparing apples and oranges. If I could do it over again i'd probably stretch my budget and opt for the leather...even if it is an absurdly pricey option.
