Well, it's possible we have different definitions of cold; I've been here 18 years so I'm pretty confident in my weather assessment (for myself of course) But maybe I'm still just happy to be away from the Boston weather!

Well something good came out of all this. I guess I would not need the heated seats.. That brings down the MSRP to $25,200.

finally decided to drop thoughts of LSD -- read some comments about high torque steer in city driving. Not planning to track.

No xenons for me... never had it so I am not spoiled. if i were ordering a BMW i would get it just for the angel eyes

I have the cold weather package which included heated seats. I needed the heated washer jets, and since I can't get just the heated washer jets (heated mirror comes with heated washer jets and costs $500), I went with the cold weather package, which adds heated seats to the heated washer jets and heated mirrors, all for the same $500. I've used the heated seats maybe twice so far on the MINI, but after only 15 min, I had to turn it off; even the low setting is a little too warm for extended period. If my MINI were a convertible, then the heated seats would be a must.
