Anyone polish out scratches in piano black plastic on the door trim?

I was going to try some ScratchX, but since the trim is supposedly 123 bucks and it is melted to the door panel, I'd rather not try on the actual panel in case it makes it worse. Anyone polish the piano black plastic in the R56 with success?

Ask in the detailing thread. You may get more responses.

I have the piano black interior panels, and I immediatly protected them with wax to help prevent any scratching. I also keep a micro fiber towel in the car to keep them free of dust and any other particulates.

I bought some meguiars plastix after reading in the detailing threads that it will take care of the scratches on the piano black, but I haven't had the time to try it out yet.....
