Of the five, IMO, the Mini is the funnest to drive (yes, I've driven them all at some point). My rearranged list would be:

1. Mini Cooper
2. Audi A3
3. Mazda 3
4. Honda Civic
5. Scion Xb

I thought the mentioning of the warning lights for the Mazda (low gas, low oil pressure, etc.) was a nice touch. I've never thought of them as an option more like being lazy for not including a gauge instead.
