R56 foot to floor and then click?
foot to floor and then click?
Either 90% of you just went "duh" or something is odd with my accelerator.
I recently got past break-in millage on me MINI. I have put my foot on the floor a few times and enjoyed what I thought was WOT but....
Today I was put into a uhhh.. "safety situation" and being a bit miffed about the Cadillac who put me in this "safety situation" I decided to blow past him/her. Being as I was a tad miffed I slammed my foot into the accelerator and felt a click.
With normal pressure I can push the accelerator to the floor but if I push down just a little harder there is definitely a click and it drops just a wee bit more.
Is this new? I've never felt it before or read about it. Is this click really the overboost button?
I forgot to mention.. when I got home from my "safety situation" I noticed that my first oil change is now scheduled at 14000 miles and not 15000 when I had started the journey.
