Skid Plate for R56?

Is there a skid plate available for the R56? I've had a steel one on my VW and it's taken a lot of hits over the years which probably would've holed the cast aluminum oil pan. The R56 also has the filter on top like my VW and I've sucked the oil out the top through the dipstick hole.

Looks smooth. Would prevent road salt and other stuff from messing up the engine. It's hard to tell how rugged it is though. Maybe when it comes out in March there'll be more pics and details of this $300 + item. The steel skid plate on my VW is 30 lbs, not like that is a good thing, but it is rugged.
