My 2007 MCS is my daily driver, and my 2003 Cooper is my autocross / track car. Or, it will be once the rebuilding is done.

Actually the last speeding ticket I got was in my '03 Cooper and the cop asked me if I was running nitrous! I got a Valentine after that, and then got an MCS, and so far no tickets, lol.

Are you getting some discounts on that policy ?

And you are carrying more than the State minimums for liablity coverage, right ?
Yup I am a male and I have full coverage with a $500 deductible. I have my insurance through Farm Bureau. I think it's so cheap because my family has all of their cars and homeowners insurance through the same agent. Also they give you a discount for good grades (works even in college). I've never had an at fault accident or received a ticket of any kind.

Actually, that's not quite right. A base Cooper is a MINI Cooper. A base MINI is a MINI One.

Whats the big deal on MCS? I own one, too. But i just bought it for higher resale value, MCS is just a 'faster' Cooper, that's all. If you dont really fancy going faster, than that'll be no problem. Great top ten but you have missed some really important points, like stopping for gas
