Stiletto 2

I just got the Stiletto 2 for Xmas. I also have an appointment set up to install the car kit, etc. I just couldn't bring myself to spend $1,075 through the dealer. This unit will end up costing over $400.00 but more flexable as a portable unit. The second subscription is also only $7.00 per month. Has anyone added this to your Mini. Any suggestions on set up, etc. Best Buy will be doing the work which is scaring me a little.

Yeah that would scare me too, a little...

Supervise while they do it, I find that's the best way to make sure they don't do something stupid. Our Best Buy installer let hubby and I sit in the car while he installed a new HU into hubby's Yukon.

For the MINI, I either do it myself or take it to a guy at a local "non-chain" shop. He LOVES the MINI, and says every time I see him that it's the coolest car that comes into his shop. I would trust him with my MINIs life...not so much the Best Buy guy...but if it's your only option, ask if you can watch them do it, and do your best to stay out of the way.

Our Best Buy guy HATES MINIs...calls them "the hand-scrapers"
