Dealer Programmable Options

I have read somewhere in NAM that the 07 manual for the MCS includes a list of dealer programmable options, for example setting the door locks to open on the first pull and not the second. I can't find that information in the pdf manual that was sent to me. My MCS is due to arrive in about three weeks and I want to send the dealer an email with a list of preferences if they're available to me.

Can someone please advise, or perhaps let me know what is, in fact, programmable for personal preferences.

many thanks!

I don't think the door locks are programmable, but all the programmable options available are in the manual. They are also user programmable, you can do it yourself.

The only instance where you'd need the dealer to program the options on an 07 is if it's a convertible, which is still based on the old gen that wasn't user programmable.

Yep, you can't program a locked door to open with a single pull, but you can program the doors not to auto-lock.

Around the time my production started, my dealer sent out an email that asked by programming preferences. IIRC, it included the turn signal settings (one blink or three blink), driving lights (on constantly or not), radio station presets, and auto wiper sensitivity (if you have them)

Really? My MA asked me how I wanted my doors to be (single or double pull) before I drove my car off the lot. I have a single pull.

Please read this thread,

https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...d.php?t=122673

And let us know if your car is auto-locking prior to you opening the door with a single pull.
