After a week of rain, the sun finally came out and got to drive my 2 day old Mini! I'm very impressed.

Very true, but while I trust my own driving skills enough in the snow, I certainly don't trust most other people's. The amount of fender benders or worse I saw after our first day of snow was quite disheartening indeed... Also the snow/dirt mixture looks absolutely horrid on my beautiful Pepper White MINI. Not to mention the havoc salt tends to wreak on paint/wheels.

I drove to lunch, drove home. Thought about checking the tire pressure, but didn't.

Just driving to work and back... but it is the most fun part of my day!
...and it is about 80 degrees here in Houston! The cold front arrives tomorrow and it may be down to.... the 60s or so... brrrrrrr.
On the agenda for tomorrow: I pick up my plates!

Hey, Spetak--are you going to the Christmas party Thursday? That would be a great "trip" for your new MINI!

Where and when on Thursday?
I am not a member of a local/regional club yet... but certainly am interested.

I put mine in the shop. :( It appears that the sunroof is leaking a bit. There is a stain on the headliner.......

I went down to the dealership after hours and saw it through the window for the first time.

Drove around to do some Christmas and grocery shopping with the windows down and sunroof open, despite it being 38 degrees with pea-soup fog.

I'm mildly insane.

Also, it's so nice to be able to motor without road salt plastering all over the sides.

Washed it (only to have it dirty again about an hour later... Damn rain, but the recent snow here in the NE had my PW disgracefully gross).

Got my boot stripes, actual size sticker and custom euro-plate installed.

Filled it with gas

Drove it rather aggressively (then again I do that just about everyday).

I painted the back part of the muffler where the two tail pipes come out, the heat shield and the bottom rear suspension arms flat black. I used high temp paint on the muffler and heat shield. I like the bottom of my cars to be all black, I didn't like how you could see bright bare metal from behind. It's up to my specs now!

See how the rear suspension arms and rear part of the muffler use to look? No more!
