Turns out the tag on this MCS I picked up off the lot in late August has a manu. date of 12/06 on it! Does this make it one of the first ones built, Anyone know how I can determine the exact week of build? Seems strange that it sat so long at the dealer, no?

How many miles was on the clock.?

 

I picked mine up on October 6th (it was on the lot) and it was manufactured in February.

 

It might be the European date method--i.e. 12/06 would be June 12.

Just a guess.

12/06 means December 2006. I ordered my car in late April 07 and the sticker on the driver's side indicates build date at 05/07, May 2007.
