Dealing with turbo heat, turbo blankets, wrap, coatings ?

With all the complaints about hood temperatures, I'm just wondering what people have tried in regards to managing the heat from the exhaust & turbo ?
I'm still waiting on my mini, but on previous turbo cars I've owned/modified I've had great luck with ceramic coating the downpipe & heat-wrapping the turbo manifold, under hood temp's were drastically reduced. I haven't tried a turbo blanket yet (eg. http://www.forcedinductions.com/product7.htm ), nor do I know of any mini suppliers making a pre-fit one, but I'm curious if anyones had any experience on their R56 MCS. Found anything that fits w/ or w/o the factory heat shielding. I'd love to see ALTA & some of the others offer their turboback pre-coated.
