Rear wiper reset

Any of you guys find that if you switched the ignition off but left the rear wiper on the 'on' (intermittent) position, you have to turn off and on the rear wiper switch again when you start the ignition again?

Also, do you find that the rain sensor wipers sometimes do not sense the rain properly and have to turn off/on the somehow 'reset' it?

On the wife's 325xi, the rain sensor wipers still need manual override, esp. if it is misty...

I don't have the sensor on the mini, so no, I don't have the same issue with needing to 'reset' it...

Yes. Mostly when stop at a red light and then get going again, a lot of the time I have to activate the wiper manually.
