Blue for me too. I have a Laser Blue MCS so it just seams to match.

Best way to describe the color I choose is dark purple. You can't get to the color without holding the toggle and transitioning to it. Clicking the toggle will pass right by it. I actually find the mood lighting to be distracting. This dark purple is as dark as I could get the lights without them going off. It's actually kind of interesting as you don't notice the light effect on the black interior. I only notice it if I am out of the city in a very dark place or put something white in the door cargo holders.

Ambient Lighting..........

I forgot all about the ambient lighting...guess what I'll be doing this weekend? You know....this is almost as bad as picking the color when I bought the Mini. Decisions, decisions, & more decisions. njp

Orange if I'm pleasing my led foot.
Blue if I'm feeling calm (I usually accompany this color with trance music).
Pink if my girlfriend is in the car -_-

The majority of the time I have it set on orange.

I like the purple...but who knew you could hold the toggle and get even more shades. More to play with. I don't care for the orange since there's more than enough BRIGHT ORANGE on my dash. I sure wish there was an option to change the dash color to the ambient colors!!!!!!

Not very many pinks and purples I'm a purple, the one that fades out to blue, so it's very dark purple.

It's really hard to get purple--it quickly goes over to the blue. I'm envious of your dark purple. I was only able to get a violet, and my side lights are more blue than anything.

I agree that it would be nice if the color of all the dash lights would change...I'm used to all that orange now but, if I had the option, I think I'd change it. My BF (an avid Audi owner) thinks all that orange is too bright anyway and makes it hard to see at night. I haven't noticed that though...
You can dim the dash/instrument lights if they're too bright. It's the button the tach that doesn't reset the trip odometer. Or you could always pay someone to do an LED swap mod for you.

I don't think I knew this either. I thought it was limited to the five preset colors you get when you nail the toggle. As if I didn't spend enough time just sitting in the car fiddling with stuff as it is...

Orange is my default choice. I'm just too OCD to pick a color that doesn't match the rest of the gauges and lights.

Same here, I like all my lights to match so I keep it orange, now if all the dash lights changed too I would use blue!

Just to keep you happy ... blue

I'd have paid for a blue (or variable) instrument light option.

I like the orange, especially since it matches the dash lights

It actually worked out quite well because my theme for my car is black and white, but the orange gave a great option for a third light accent color...i didnt get the clear turnsignal lights so I have orange there, dash and mood lights orange, and in the future I plan to add undercarriage/wheel well/and grill LEDs that can change orange and white (or atleast just stay orange)

Please don't think this is a Dumb Question (I'm really NOT Blonde). Is this a Standard Feature or is it an Option that you had to order?? I've also been wondering about the Headliner mounted toggle switches and Map Lighting, are these standard as well??

I know I'm to get a few wise cracks, just make sure it's all in Good Fun!!
Thanks!!

Ours is blue on most occasions, although my wife likes the pinkish or purplish colors.
