I used to rotate MIB's tires every 5K miles. The best part was a floor jack at the front jacking point would lift the entire side. So crack both tires lug bolts and then jack up. Swap tighten and lower. Tork with the tires just touching the ground.
Anyone in their right mind would never buy tires from a car dealership. They may want to sell you replacements but you'll pay top dollar. Buy tires from Tire Rack, have them dropped shipped to an independent shop of your choice and have the shop mount and balance them. You'll save a bundle.

... or, if you want to keep a few more dollars in the local economy, find an independent who will match Tire Rack's pricing (after shipping) or come close.

Excellent point, but I have a very difficult time trusting a tire dealer with my wheels. I've experienced so called "experts" locally in dismounting old and mounting new tires. It was scary and I would not go back. The guy who does my tire work has a tire tech who is amazingly good. To each his own as they say.

Just like everything else: mechanics, body shops, attorneys; there are good ones and there is everyone else. I know of two shops in town I trust to mount low profile tires without gouging or scratching them. I know of a whole lot of other places I just drive on by.

Yeah I needed to reset the FTM. But as I thought about it if you do not rotate your tires as some have posted above then the front tires would wear more than the rears. So logically wouldn't the FTM warning come on? I rotated my tires at 5k and I got the warning.
