"Lost my Deflector Lip" count

I'm sure I'm not the only one who has broken off one or both of the little black flaps under the front of the car (the Defelctor Lip). And, has anybody ordered a replacement? how much? Or maybe there is an alternative that would go nicely with the Aero kit?

Mine haven't broken off yet but they keep hitting the ground almost every time i pull out of my driveway. So this would be some good info.

Mine haven't broken off yet, but I am thinking of taking them off. The guys at the dealer told me that I really don't need them, they just bolt onto the car. I know a few people that have lowered their MINI's and have had them removed.

Somewhere in the NAM I remember a heated thread about the benefits/dangers of removing these things. Some people seemed adament that by removing them you are risking doing a double loop-to-loop on the freeway.

Tales of MINIs demise are greatly exagerated. Don't worry about stability at high speed without. For the record I broke one off and removed the other once I'd spotted that.
