guys, i just got my pre-approval letter so that means i'll be making a purchase soon!! and i ran into Cedric the entertainer here at work!! i asked him what color i should get (blue, dark silver, or red), he said the silver. LOL!

 

You never know. They may start sending cars through with the auto-up in 07. Seems like MINI doesn't always wait for a model year to change something.

 

Up windows... just to add to this - when I took the MCS for a test drive (sorry no clue what week of production) it had the auto up window (if I am understanding that correctly) eg holding the switch up for a few secs it brought the window all the way up without having to hold the switch - is this what we are talking about? I remember my MA having to show me how to do it.... I am week 36 production so maybe its as everyone suggesting the later 07s get some of the 08 options...

or is this something completely different?

Auto up - on my '97 BMW the window switch has two positions. Push it half way down and it'll go up until you let go, momentarily push it all the way down and it'll go up all the way automagically w/o you having to keep your finger on the switch. I'm assuming it'll work similarly on the Mini.

 

NO!! the 2010 models sucks!! They really screwed that one up. the 09 is the one to go with!!
