car seems to drive different after very very small fender bender

i have a very small fender bender last week. some woman in a truck tapped me going about 5-10 MPH. it made a super small dent below my fuel door (didnt even break the paint). im going to get it knocked out for cheap this week. but i noticed that the car has a minor shimmy while drive at higher speeds(very very minor). i looked at that side of the car again, no damage on wheel, rim, tire fender ect. just that small 1 inch dent. could it be possible that this could do anything to the way the car drives? i would think a pothole would have more bad effects than something like this. being very picky the brakes seem to have a small pulse to them as well when applied.

i know its impossible for anybody to say exactly what could be happening here. i guess my question is that if there was no direct contact on the wheel or axle and the hit was beyond minor could it still cause these problems.

Get the tires rotated and balanced. Could be a really small dent because the tire took a nice little thump....or... it is a routine tire balance thing.
