I must say that the way we are forced to track our cars in Canada is rather "folksy"... :-)

Thanks for the crossed fingers though! I'll let everyone know when it arrives at the dealer. I have asked to be notified even pre-PDI, just so I can have a peek at it.

THE MINIS ARE IN TORONTO!!!

I went to my dealer and saw my mini parked out front today. :-) Pretty lil red thing. All the papers should be done by tomorrow so I'm hoping to pick it up by tomorrow. :-)

Gonna order a few accessories for the Mini as I did the mini test challenge in June and got a cert for $1k of free accessories (parts only, labour extra...and labour costs $115 an hour).

Haven't decided on what to get yet....but there sure is a lot of useless but fun stuff to get for a cooper.

Can't wait to drive it home tomorrow. :-D

Haha....np. I got an email this morning from my dealer this morning saying it's arrived. And I jumped out of my seat saying YAY!!! And then I drove over to the dealership to go see it.

It still needs to be washed up and stuff, but it exists, and when I ordered it a month an a half ago my car didn't even exist. :-P It's such a weird feeling to finally see it.

I'll take some pics and post them (and figure out how the gallery works on this forum) once I get the car tomorrow. :-)

Lovely to have my Chilli red mini cooper Classic....with premium pkg...sitting safely in my garage. But not for long! Can't wait to take it out for a spin once I get off work. :-D

are you going to do the door handles UJ as well? I did my 04 cooper.. they were not fun, but look sweet I think.

Your red MINI looks really nice, I am waiting for MINI - Classic Oxygen blue with premium pkg as well, it should be here (MINI Richmond) sometimes next week. At first I wasn't sure of the identical roof body colors, but now I see yours I know I made a right decision.

Xiek - I'm only getting the union jack mirror caps and the review mirror cap. I'm also getting the union jack storage box too (useless, I know...but haha...I didn't quite know what to spend it on). I'll keep the handles in chrome for now...they did not look that easy to install. I thought about bonnet stripes, but street parking and baking in the sun, I'm hesitant on what that will do to vinyl stickers and my car.

mtgperson -I've a 6 speed manual too! I think the Oxygen blue would look amazing on a cooper classic. I have no regrets getting identical body and roof colours. The majority of red coopers I see on the road have black roofs. I love my Brusier. :-) Everytime I see a mini I always think "a red english bulldog" ...now I have one. I can't wait to see your oxygen blue baby!!!

Still training Bruiser through the breakin period. :-) I don't think I'll have any trouble getting through the first 2000km...too bad I can't drive it hard...yet.

Are you on week 30 or 31? My was suppose to arrived on Aug 17th, apparently the train was late, you think our MINI might be on the same train? If you get yours tomorrow, I should have mine next week, ha-ha! The white strips looks good on your MINI!

Hello from Ottawa! Been busy so not much time to post... or post pics... but my PW cooper classic is home. I will be doing some serious driving this weekend.

 

Aug.28th.. my MINI still hasn't hit the dealer lot yet.... was set to arrive on Aug.17th.

Very disappointing because I need a car to get around.

 

Have they given you any indications????
