My first MINI took about a week to make it to the dealer after arrival, so it is definitely getting very close.

OMG My heart skipped a beat when I read this.
the Owner's Lounge and 1-866-ASK-MINI both have me "en route". I will wait and see.
In the meantime I'm going to go peruse motoringbadges.com for some more ornaments for a car I don't even have yet.

Yeah, sorry you are having to wait a bit longer for that Panama Canal trip, but you have better weather than we do, so you can enjoy top open or top down weather more than we can.
It's 101 here today, makes sitting in traffic unbearable without the a/c blowing full blast...

An interesting thing happened today. The Owner's Lounge still has my car en route, but 1-866-ASK-MINI has switched to "at port, waiting for a shipping vessel". Does this mean my baby is in the port in South Carolina, waiting to be shipped to the VDC? Or did she somehow make it back to Southampton?
Did anyone else have this happen to them?

Well, the Owners Lounge updated for me this morning. It is showing Alice at the Distribution Center with an estimated delivery date of 8/5, which is Sunday. Kinda odd, I wouldn't think the trucks would be making deliveries on Sunday. But in any case, just a few more days!
So I guess it's time to call my dealer and see when I might be able to pick her up. Early next week I hope

The OL has a delivery date of August 7.
My MA said 2 days for illuminated doorsills, ipod adapter and mudflaps installation.
That means delivery on the 9th!
Only 5 more days!!!!!!!!!

Well, the Patriot is set to arrive in NY today, and as of 1100GMT, it wasn't very far off shore...unfortunately, I never got any sort of response to my request for a free AISLive account, so I'll just have to hope the captian can find his way in ok on his own 
Now it's down to the home stretch....

My Mini is still on some truck on the way to the dealership. Their first truck today didn't 
have any Minis on it. 
They are expecting another truck today. 
I'm crossing my fingers and toes. I'm sure they won't get it PDIed and to me before Monday or Tuesday, even if it arrives today.
Waiting sucks!!!
