My apologies, you are correct. I assumed that with about 20 more horsepower, the base Focus would be faster than a Cooper, but it does weigh almost 200 pounds more.

To HiImSean, to slightly amend my earlier statement, if you have a Focus with a 2.0 liter engine, either MINI will be faster. If you have one with the 2.3 liter engine, and you want something that is definitely faster, you may want to go with an S.
