Into the MINI toolkit inside the boot, I have added a miniature Mag flashlight that runs on 2 AA batteries (one of those new LED ones), and a digital tire pressure monitor. Otherwise, nothing else in my boot.

Excellent

I had this vision of a big 14" woofer and a mega-amp taking all the space in your boot, custom box and all.

Having space for groceries and other essential items, vino, 18 year old scotch is a good idea.

Why do all you folks drive around with cleaning stuff in the boots?? Why not leave them at home in the garage/apt/"flat" (since this is the mini!)?
Thanks. I painted the extinguisher while I was painting my Aero kit. I never carried cleaning equipment in a car before (except some classics when going to a car show), but the MINI's glass is so damn vertical that I hear it's at risk of being brought up on insect genocide charges at the Hague.

My bad luck, I had a loaner the day of the heist! Forgot to take the gold bars out when I picked up my car from the shop.

What comes around goes around I guess. The last guy who had the loaner must have had a child. I got a ninja turtle!

Oh, in my car, I've got the tools for the tire plugs. The plugs and glue are in the jack toolbag. The air compressor is under the driver's seat. Tire gauge in the arm rest. Leather helmut and gloves in the door, towel in the back seat, microfiber towel in the other armrest.

Duh. My feet go in my boots. Putting anything else in there is just plain silly.

Trinity, would you mind posting pictures of what your sub looks like when completed? Thanks,

Jumper Cables? I got this small rechargable battery jumper thing that will jump start the car if the battery dies. Just charge it every 3 months or so. Really good when someone else asks you if you have jumper cables...Just grab the unit and connect it to their car and jump-start it that way. No risk to your MINI. I also have a tire gauge and the cargo nets. Nothing else yet...but I have only had it a week.
