R56 Mushrooming and the R56
Does anyone have a picture. I fall into the "most people" category.
check out this thread:
does the r56 suffer from **STRUT TOWER MUSHROOMING**?

Quite right. That was not a whine at all. A mere trifle. A slight burble, as it were. A pimple on the face of the moon. A grain of salt in the Pacific Ocean. Really small. Tiny. We are talking on A MOLECULAR LEVEL! YOUR BRAIN,..THE GALAXY!! DO YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT I AM SAYING!!!! ARRRRRRRRGGGGGHHHHHH!!
Geez, I guess you can't make a post here without being attacked either
Lighten up... it wasn't an attack. Just some fun. But, now, you may have whined.... What do you think, Skuzzy?
$#^%, Now I just diqualified that as a whine!!!!
Either a brilliant sideways sort of cut or an honest gesture of appreciation. Whatever it was,..it certainly was good. I have to respect that, for sure.
Hehe. Looks like 1chaos caught some with that stinky bait.
It has a long way to go before it can be called a good whine. But it is a start.

[quote=Skuzzy;1562611]Well, I have little patience/tolerance for those who simply do not add anything constructive to threads. And he is pretty consistent about it.
Surfblue replies: Coming from you, I'll take that as a compliment. You only have to LOOK AROUND this forum a bit to know that there's NO PROBLEM. It was discussed long ago. And I can assure you that if the drops I slammed through at 80+ on the cement portions of Hwy 80 West out of Dixon a couple Saturdays back didn't cause mushrooming on my 07 MCS with 16's and sport suspension, it's highly unlikely to ever be a problem. And don't say I didn't add something constructive, because I told you to QUIT

Thank you, skuzzy. My thoughts exactly. And, as for you, surfblue, quite obviously, I was asking about a preventive measure. Obviously, if you bothered to think, rather than just run your keys, it wouldn't help to add strength after-the-fact. Also, I am not worrying, I was seeking informed advice as to whether or not it would likely be a problem. I turst you would not be happy to receive a post such as yours, should you have a question/concern.
