Adam,

That will be great. I think a single tip in a styled oval with Alta engraved like your dual tips or just plain would be a great option.

Waiting to hear the cat-back, go put some miles on the MINI.

Thank you,
Don S.

Sowellman: True and not-true! Yes I be the head honcho, but at the same time, I rely on the opinions and expertice of our staff. As a result I need to consult them as to muffler bodyies, tip selection, etc. that will fit with the R56. It may or may not be available. However, I am being completely honest that I will check with them to see what options we have. I will let everyone know ASAP.

old81: I put some more on last night and again this morning. I will try to post in the next day or so. Thank you again!

Back to work! Chat soon!

No kidding! I am waiting for blue ones to hit the door! Since I have the blue interior I want to keep the same accent color under the hood right? Or should I keep it black under there? red? Thoughts?

Adam is giddy as a schoolkid. Love it! What's up dood!

I didn't even get a chance to sit in your fine R56 the other day. I can't wait to see how it turns out on it's been "Adam-ed"!

Oh, and I third the comments about Jarid. Awesome dude.

[Yo JP, if you're still lurking... I stopped by to see you last week... (yeah and I bought more parts). You were on a testy, though. Figures!]

BTW, Adam, I vote for blue hoses, since the seats are blue. Otherwise I'd be all about the red.

Cheers. -B

Thanks guys! I thinking blue too. Just stick to one accent at a time!

Gets tinted in the morning!

Speaking of that: Do you guys generally tint the sunroofs too? What about the windshield? Both were options given to me by the tinter(sic). Any clues guys?

Thanks again!

Very nice car Adam!

Hope the ALTA exhaust will arrive soon. I can't wait anymore

Any chance you will fit the Alta BOV on your car?

Yes the BOV is on my short list. Look for something next week. Talk to you soon.

Guys: Anything on the tint thoughts? I only have 12 hours to make a decision.

JCW Driver: Forgot to ask. What were you buying? Also, I forgot to ask (or look in your cars) do you have the JCW wheel? If so do you like it? Let me know!

Great progress, what next?

Adam, that must be a heck of a stash you have at home. You asked about tint and the sunroof. Since I don't have a sunroof in Scooter not a issue for me, but if I did have one I would tint a little darker than the windows.

Do you have a CAI in the works for your MCS?

How is the sound byte on the Alta Cat-back coming?

Perhaps you will know, does the stock exhaust on the MINI get a little louder with a few hundred miles or so. My MCSa exhaust with about 102 miles is a bit subdued (read so quiet I can take a nap).

Love the tutorials and pictures, lots of pictures.

Don S. and Scooter.

Windows DONE! Pics tomorrow (hopefully, dont' shoot me if I miss a day though What a difference! The black windows meld well with the black c pillars making a very cohesive look. Also did 5% on the sunroofs. Really helped today on the sunny afternoon vs. untinted.

Maaij: for sure! Will do a DIY on that too. ASAP!

Thanks folks!

Sounds pretty decent. I'd love to hear it just sitting still and reving. The wind kinda gets in the way of the exhaust sound. How's it sound inside?

It is nice and mellow inside too. Nothing annoying or raspy. I have a few other videos (more tire smoke, etc.) but there are a few with just off idle revs, that were kind of boring, but I will upload it today. Check back to that link later on today.

Thanks again guys!
