For the 07 Mini, there are Union Jack and checkered flag mirror covers. They sell for the interior rearview mirror, and the door mounted mirrors.

Question. How hard are the covers to install? Is the interior rearview mirror covered by snapping over the mirror, or does the mirror need to be taken apart?

And this... http://www.funmini.com/ujmirrors.html not so pemanent and a lot less expensive. This is an idea I had but never got around to it after I failed miserably to try to vinyl a whole mirror cover in one piece. I'm pretty good at it now.

 

I have the union jack rear-view mirror cover. It just snaps on, no installation or changes needed. I thought it might look goofy but I ordered it anyway, it looks great!
