Does anyone know if the fork mounted bike rack (Item # 82 72 0 301 584) locks at the fork release?

I've determined the roof rack base locks to the car. What about the roof rack to the bike? Similar models by Thule and Yakima have lock cores but I can't tell from the Mini catalog and the parts guy I called wasn't sure either.

 

It does lock at the fork release. I have one. Works great. It is actually a Thule with mini logo.

Thule is changing to new models and the xadapt to fit the slotted Aero bar isn't set to release until July. I'll go with the Mini since it is ready to go.
