Sounds like a plan indigo. I've got something similar planned, but I'm going to have to take a long detour on my way home. I'm only 3 miles from the dealer, and I'm guessing after the wait (short by comparison to most folks) I'm going to want to drive a wee bit longer than 3 miles!

Our MCS (Dame Edna) was ordered Jun.11 and is reported to have left Southampton Jun.22 on board the Frisia (K-Line) with Charleston ETA on July 7 after a stop in Baltimore. Having no luck tracking the aforementioned Frisia at the moment, and wonder if any of all y'all are on board. Any info or feedback on the good ship Frisia welcome.

I only wish that Dame Edna was travelling with WW (where I could track progress), but she has opted to travel incognito on K-Line.

 

Thanks. I thought "Dame Edna" is a perfect name since I'm not 100% sure yet if my mini is male or female! If you ever saw the comedian Dame Edna you'd know what I mean! Alsa, better to travel on the downlow, you never know who might be trying to hijack a shipload of mini's.

 

Mine just got completed today. Woohoo! Now to await the transport info.

 

My mini also left Southampton on the 22nd, going to Charleston, so I assume it must be the Frisia. I hope we are able to track the ship!

Anyone know the shipping status for the next boat? WW is the only one company that I know to track Mini. Please advise others carriers that I should look into. thanks.

hopefully we will be on same ship, unknown since you are going to the west coast. You and SimpsonGI might be together, my poor mini might not have any other NAM friends on board :(

 

I'm scheduled for completion today as well. June 26th is turning into a popular birthday for MINIs. :-)

my Mini's birthday is today also ... started production on 6/20, completed 6/26. Yipee!!

It's (unamed at the moment) a CR/B, Cold/Premium/Sport, LSD, comfort access, HiFi, armrest, anthracite headliner, red leather/black cloth seats, rear fogs, auto-dimming rear view mirror, JCW aerokit

 

Yes, as a matter of fact I have. It is about a 125 mile drive for me one way to/from the dealer. After that it'll be tooling around town until the following weekend when I take it for about a 500 mile round trip to show it off to my younger brother. I'll easily have a 1000 miles on it within 10 days.

 

Congrats on to all on our Mini birthdays! It does like there is a good chance that Opass's Mini and mine will be on the ship ship. It looks like there will be quite a few going to the East Coast. Hopefully another NAM Mini will join Daveag98's MCS on its trip. (I'm not sure the port it would stop at for a Tx delivery) We don't want any of them to be lonely!

I'm thinking we'll all be able to find out the ship names in a couple of days.

 

Opass, all of the tracking info I've discovered has been from this site. This thread https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...ad.php?t=70301 is a good starting point. If all else fails and you can't find the info online your MA should be able to find out the name of the ship its on and then you can try to use one of the two ship tracking sites mentioned in that thread. They are not shipping company specific, it appears is if you just need to know the name of the ship your Mini is on to track it.

I'm hoping they put us on a WW ship though as it'll probably have more overall information available to us.

 

I think it ports at charleston Sc and then gets trucked in.
