To a dealer in trade or private party? And if a dealer, what brand-.... are you saying a MINI dealer did that?

Chow is right when it comes to trade in values for MOST major metros.....you will not see them give you anymore than they can give or get that car at the dealers auction.....However in someplaces where you are far removed from MINI dealers and the used market is fairly dry you will get a diffrent deal...For example there is one dealer here in my town that has kept a MINI or two on thier lot at all times ever since they came out. I even think that they may be buying them from a dealer and bringing them here and marking them up. So some dealers are intrested in getting MINI's or other get you on the lot type cars and then when you see how much it is they direct you to another car where they have more margin.
