wow... amazing looking MINI... congrats... and nice environment to drive it in... i miss being out there to drive now that I have a MINI.

i'm also intersted in the wood shift *****. they look great. can't wait to hear about them.

I can't change my ****... :-( i have an auto... very sad... i saw a nice one today at auto zone w/ color changing lights that would have matched my mood lighting... :-(

Thanks. I'm not sure about the auto. The closest I've been to one is peering in a closed window at the dealers. When I test drove, there were no MCSa's available. Doug Whalen might know. He makes the stainless steel adaptors I use. http://www.whalenshiftmachine.com/

I don't really know.

From reading various posts about auto *****, it seems like the push button would create insurmountable problems. And eliminating the button is probably not a good idea.

I should know more after I get a good look at an auto **** at MITM, this August.
