Totally agree very cool rare mini, especially with the original fixed metal painted grille even if it does make work on the distributor difficult!

Major restoration project spotted on ebay.co.uk:-
Pickup (item number: 120085617630)

That a great price. It old enough that you can still bring it in to the states legaly too. Lot of work though.

+1 in thinking it looks like the Red Bull MINI.

When I first saw the Red Bull MINI, my thought was, "If they took that d@mn can off and painted it a solid color, I'd buy it in a heartbeat!" I almost wanted to call Red Bull and ask if, when they decomission their cars, they'd give me a call!

I want a MINI "truck"!

Looks okay to me, for a MINI-Camino.
The red-bull MINI is a cabrio, that they install the hard top on, and turn the back seat into coolers for red bulls. on the last day of the dragon they showed up.. and let us check it out.

they said they will try to make it to next year and I gave them the website to contact for vendor status and such.

I got some free red bulls for my 17 hr drive home to Canada though. :D

A MINI pick-up is the only 2nd MINI I would consider. And that coming from a MINI owner who has vowed to always own a MINI.

But if MINI is going to build a pick-up, I do hope it's soon, 'cause I got to tell'ya, I don't understand why Chevy has'nt done it already with their HHR. They are offering a panel truck version for 08.

The HHR would make for an oustanding little pick-up. It could probably even be offererd in a regular and a extended cab version. Plus the wheel base is already long enough in it's present version and the truck "theme" is already there. It would also be a more practical/usable little pickup than a MINI.

A HHR pick-up would sell like hot-cakes!!! Just an honest opion!

Concept, sure.

That particular execution? No.

It would work better, visually, with the standard Cooper wheelbase and an extended body rather than an extended wheelbase.

That thing looks like the old VW Rabbit pickup.
