The Clubman looks cool!!!
I honestly don't understand why they mess with the black tape and all...but then again no one asked me (and probably never will)!!

My wife has been thinking that the Hot Chocolate and Silver or White roof would be a great combo. Seeing the pics made her think she could go ahead and have them drive it over to our garage!
The one disappointment (in my mind, not her's) is that I don't see any 'D' variant. Base model and 'S', yes, but where's the Turbo Diesel carrot they've been danggling?!?
Also, note the third headrest for the backseat in some of the close-ups. Obviously the Euro/Rest of the Known world version. We'll probably have to wait until closer to production (I'm thinking Octoberish, like they did with the '07 roll-out) before we'll actually start seeing the US version.
Personally, I still think a Clubman D would be the best Motoring experience for my wife. Plenty of low end torque, turbo when you need it, and the added room she wishes my 'S' had.
This is going to be (at least at first) a niche-niche car. Not just someone who wants a MINI, but an avid fan of the old Clubman/Travellers.

After looking at these pjictures extensively it seems to me that Black may not be offered as a color option for the roof as it accentuates its length- at which point it begins to look somewhat like a hearse, though not quite. It's about time they release PR material!!!

Great shots - Thanks for the link to the pics! I think the Clubman looks fantastic! I'm really digging the silver roof and accents and the back end. Originally Posted by jakay11

Damm when where these fotos made ?! We`ve been to Zandvoort between June 22-24 at the Mini United 2007 Festival and did not see one of them at all. [but 3000 regular Minis :-)]

Is that plastic junk around the tail lights still part of the "costume"? Cuz that stuff looks like crap ... however, the rest of the car looks nice

I don't think there's any change to rear leg room, just more storage space behind it

I rather have more rear leg room.pug poo picker-upper

Actually I would expect rear seat legroom to grow by roughly 5-6 inches. Originally Posted by Drillslinger

What happened to the beloved MINI concept?
This looks like a Japanese delivery wagon. (I know, personal preference, eye of the beholder, etc.)

Well, it is a Clubman!!! They were often used as small delivery vans. If MINI deviated beyond this point (of largeness) they'd be on thin ice, but as is the Clubman is appropriate for a MINI. Originally Posted by lhoboy
