It's not the height of the roof that irks me, it's the shape The way it "Peaks" at the left and right edge just looks "off" to me for some reason
Almost reminds me of a Land Rover Discovery roof. It does seem a bit odd. Maybe it is a mask that is covering something else up. Rest of it looks pretty good though.
Does this also come with only the useless rearview autodimming mirror, like the one on the convertibles? It looks like the rear glass will be as useless as on the convertibles, with the pillar between the two rear windows.
From the front/side view looking back, it looks like a MINI-Hearse. However, from the side, it looks like there's a good deal of camo on the roof. Not sure why. Maybe it's to hide the economy sized moonroof :-)
Hopefully, the production model will have the same rear roofline as the coupes.
Love the car and look forward to take delivery. Seems to have "limo" like rear leg room and it appears to be that it will sit more than 5 passengers...

I drove an Astro van for a while. 2 rear doors just like the Clubman...plenty of rear visibility.

Went and looked back at the pictures. Didn't notice the roof before. Well the upside is less water in your lap when you turn a corner having your windows down.
Maybe it's just wishful thinking on my part but I don't belive the car is free of any cladding. Those big roof humps running the full length of the car on both sides can't possibly be the final product. The rear lights also look disguised and what about the puny exhaust hanging out the back like an afterthought!
awh c'mon, let the future clubman owners have a little fun
I guess I'm a traditionalist. The original traveller was geared towards practicality and not performance. I've also heard mention of of a JCW Traveller, which in my opinion would be totally absurd and only serve to dilute pedigree of the JCW brand.
