I am searching for a replacement fuse box (used) and I have a question about the values printed on the side. Here is a photo with my comments on what they mean or could mean. Does anyone have a better explanation?
Side note, is there a company that can repair these fuse boxes?
They are color coded for better breakout and are my best guesses.
Red = part number
Orange = Country of manufacture, date of manufacture, and unknown version number
Yellow = Hardware & Software versions
Green = unknown special number?
Blue = fuse box serial number?
Indigo = unknown model number?
Purple = unknown version code?
Take those 7 digits from the part number, 3453738 the -01 is the revision. That is the Red = part number.
This is the latest part number below. If it can repaired or not is up in question. It would have to be torn apart to see what's run or test all the relayed and connections. Thats going to be some work and also to check if it has moisture damage.
