I am having a difficult time with the sun roof on a 2008 R55. I've checked around and haven't found any reset procedures that seem to alleviate the problem. I've tried holding the button forward, backwards, unplugging the battery. Nothing. if you slide it back it goes all the way open and then comes almost halfway forward again. If you go to close it, it starts to open as it gets to the almost closed position. I can intermittently push the button forward and it gets it into the vented position, but won't lower to fully close.
